The test center of the FIW München

The FIW München offers a big bandwidth of thermal protection, mechanical and chemical analytic tests for the building and technical thermal protection. In the center stands the practical, holistic, conscientous and fast testing, rating and quality assurance of building parts and building systems from one hand.

For this purpose the FIW München disposes outstanding and partly unique measure and test facilities. Paired with knowlege, experience and creativity they enable beside the sustainable quality assurance on the basis of (international) Standard-test procedures even complex building physical special investigations for innovative new products out of the research. The normative implementation and monitoring of technical requirements in Europe is secured by the cooperation of national and european standartization bodies, also through the chairmanship in significant committees.
