THEA

In this project aeogel based isolation materials for the automotive and non-automotive area are developed to improve the thermal and acustic isolation of the respective systems. Simultanous a high temperature analytic is concipated and realized to guarantee future certificable thermal measuremenets at high temperature.

DaNaRo - Durability of insulation materials made from renewable raw materials

The project investigates the durability of insulation materials made from renewable resources by identifying key environmental factors and aging mechanisms and analyzing their effects on thermal, mechanical, moisture, and fire performance over a 50-year service life. Based on laboratory tests, simulations, and field studies, it develops methods to verify durability and aims to support product optimization, sustainable material use, and future standardization efforts.
