Vita

Monika Kronthaler completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on building physics, structural engineering, and sustainability. She has been working at FIW Munich since 2022 – initially as a working student and Master's candidate in the Research and Development department, where she wrote her thesis on "The use of wood fibers as core material for vacuum insulation panels" in cooperation with the institute. Since 2024, she has been a permanent member of the Technical Insulation department team.
