Pia Striebel first completed her Bachelor in Environmental Engineering and then her Master's degree in civil engineering at the Technical University of Munich. The focus here was on building physics, building construction and sustainable real estate development. Alongside her studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Building Physics at the TU Munich, where she also carried out her master's thesis in the field of sustainable construction. Also as a research assistant, she worked at the Chair of Energy Efficient Design and Construction at the TU Munich in the field of building renovation in existing buildings.

Since 2021, she has been working in the Research and Development Department of FIW Munich.
